Not that it matters because I have sold this bike which I have had for 5 or 6 years but I was just checking the numbers and the engine and frame numbers match. Is this another Indian dodgy or not. The bike looks to be fairly original, the headlight swith is in the nacelle and the ignition switch is in the toolbox. Does anybody know when they moved the ignition switch into the nacelle. It doesn't really matter because I have Aus rego papers stating it is a 1974 500cc which we all know it isn't but just curious about the matching numbers, have the Indians done this at some stage. I recently repaired 3 350's that were obviously Indian dodgies and they had matching numbers as well but this one was a personal import at some stage and I wasn't expecting it to match

Well there you go, I never thought the Indians would have bothered.Means they might be worth more in the future because you have a matching numbers bike
