As far as I am aware E5 is the US name for an electra and g5 is for a bullet. There are some differences I believe; gearbox sprocket teeth, rim size are two. But dont quote me on that! The online catalogue should help you check interchangeable parts though.

AND I think the front ends are a bit different. The G5 has a deep mudguard, the E5 electra has a skinny rubbish thing.

In Aus the G5 was similar to the old Electra X but with the UCE motor. It had side covers instead of tool boxes, stupid sausage boxes and only half a front mudguard. I would take a stab that the fork tubes are the same but the lower legs are different depending on the type of mudguard fitted

Fox, The E5 is the standard painted Electra EFI made from about 2008. The G5 is the deluxe version of this and has chrome mudguards and tank etc

Foz,
Do you need the bottom leg or just the tube, if you need the bottom leg you need the right one because the one you have , the mudguard mounts up high on the lower leg with 2 studs? This is where Enfield stuff now goes into very murky waters

Either the E5 or G5 forks will fit, the legs are the same, the difference is just down to the finish of the alloy sliders so if there are no E5 forks available fit the G5, they will fit straight on.
