I know our hosts do replacement led bulbs for pilot lights (2007 350 bullet), but does anyone know about replacement tail/stoplight and headlamp leds?, and are they legal?
Cheers
Jools

Yes they are. Have a look at the LED bulbs on Classic Dynamo Regulator Conversions site, these bulbs are very high quality and made to suit bikes as well, some others don't have a good light spread. There is a wide range of bulbs in all polarities and even headlight bulbs with dipping bulbs coming soon. And he explains the legal bit too.

super bright leds do them.
tail is 1157, nice light spread, with white for number plate, stop and tail.
i have these in both my bullets, and they save power and are surprisingly bright.
I tried a H4 LED Bulb - 12 LED Daytime Running Light in my older bullet (Tornado). the lamp is not dippable, but always full beam on both switch positions, but this is ok as I do not use Tornado at night! It is very bright and very white, and makes an excellent daytime running light.
The speedo tell tale lights are BA9s (wether LED or incandescent)
the type to get are BA9s LED Bulb - 4 LED Amber 32 Degree 12V

The odd little speedo illumination (and possibly ammeter light too) is BA7s
Be aware of their indicator bulbs though… they are polarity sensitive, and both my bullets would need me to switch over the wires to the lamp holders, before they will work. Also, check if you have an electronic flasher unit. take one bulb out and if remaining bulb (and tell tale) flash correctly then all is ok for installing LED bulbs. If the flashing is not correct (slow, fast or no flash at all) then you would need to change for electronic flasher which are usually under £10 (UK)
Indicators are BA15s

A few days ago I fitted an LED to my indicator light in the speedo just to see if it would work. I think it has 6 LED's in it and is pretty bright. I had to fit a diode into each wire leading to the light before I combined the wires. Works well and the 2 diodes cost 25 cents each
