Okay chaps after some rerouting of the breather I ended a trip to scotland just before shap with oil all over the aaaass of my bike .This machine (electra x )is used daily for a 3 mile trip and has shown a propensity for producing mayo on these short trips then ejecting the same along with good oil on a run .A very nice aa chap did suggest today that perhaps I was using a wrong grade of oil .What do you use ?

If you are using the recommended oil ie,15/40 -10/40
the problem is with the breather/catch tank set-up; you will have to modify it again, others will give you good advice on how to do that.

ogri ,i had a watsonion conversion catch tank but i turned it into a trophy for last years agm ,using the extra long oil dipstick for a trophy for steve our unfortunate crusader sport rider who lost all his oil and blew up over the strines ,hope youve sorted this ,if not pop over to pauls,garage with the catch tank gubbins and we,ll redesign it in the comfort of my log cabbin newly errected 5 star garage t and butties all round ,all the best paul.
