Good evening. Could anyone tell me if I'm likely to have clearance problems if I fit a 19" * 3.5" Ensign trials tyre to the rear of my '93 classic. I've got the aluminium mudguard and the tyre already. I have the bike stripped down to have the frame, swinging arm and chainguard powder coated and a last minute thought reminded me I should really have checked the clearance before I dismantled it. If anyone's already done this and can confirm it's OK I will be very grateful.

Hello there----------you might know my good friend "Itsa youround" ??.........As you've got the frame etc stripped down why not do a loose assembly of the relevant bits into the swing arm and have a look see ?? I seem to remember that the chain guard mounting lug gets in the way a bit ??

Thank you. I'll have to improvise since the rear wheel is already in bits. But I think it needs doing before I commit to powder coating and rebuilding the wheel.
