Hi Guys I have picked up an old fork set for my Bullet that was involved in an accident. The seller listed them as Interceptor forks but I am sure they are not. Would love to know what they are from. Here are a few links to some pics of the forks.

Hi guys---------- 65BELLET, that's some nasty injury you have there !!--- If all those plates and screws are stainless then best keep away from China or they might melt you down (LoL)...I was hoping that MARK M might have spotted this one ??...Can't you try the forks anyway ?/ Might be better than standard Bullet ones ??

65,those are the late type forks (1958-62) as fitted to Meteor Minors and 350 Bullets. They were not fitted to Interceptors, Constellations, Super Meteors or 500 Bullets. However, they were also fitted to the 350cc "Works Replica" Trials machine. I have one of these bikes so fitted. Externally these forks appear the same as the 250cc Crusader range but the type you have has a proper oil seal at the top and a removable top bush, the 250s had neither. Internally these forks also have proper 2 way damping unlike the 250s. These forks are worth quite a lot of money from the Trials fans! Yours has the single sided brake version, there is even a double sided version of these forks, so rare I've only ever seen it once.

Well there you go Gav, now you can tell Sarah that you have something really sought after on your Bullet, so don't put it in the hard rubbish pile. Need a hand let me know

I've got an old set of early 50's forks on my Bitsa bullet and with re tempered springs they are superb. They fit straight on to the 1991 circa frame that I also got as a front end wreck. Definitely recommend the re temper though or new springs if Mr H can supply and the difference is dramatic.

Cheers for all the responses guys. Mark M thank you for the great information. Now I just have to have a fiddle to get it to fit an Indian front wheel and I will in business.
