Re Photos. I use the Flickr outlet and thought I'd try this out. As mentioned already here, more {of my] pictures can be accessed through the outlet. You'll (hopefully) see my Bullet in different guises at this moment in time too?

Well I'll be damned. It works just fine? Took less five seconds to post that picture. Hope you like my other Bullet pictures and anything else there that takes your fancy? Post your comments if you like?
The Bullet has been off the road since mid-July due to the piston trouble and I've only recently started putting it all back together. Doing a mini-refurb on it with the bike stripped down to just the engine and frame in situ. Going to fit all the bits and pieces I've gathered over the past two years from here, Autojumbles and other outlets, that I've been promising to do. Will put a "finished" picture up in time.

The "before" picture. Re-build and transformation, into a bit of a special, in progress. "After" picture will probably be in the new year.

PS. I'll say one thing for Bullet simplicity, the above strip down to engine/chassis took less than two hours. Shame it'll take me four months to put it all back together?

Great pictures, you've inspired me to try it too. Keep up the progress, I recommend having AT LEAST two projects on the go and then you can always make progress. I may not be entirely serious about this...

Mark - Sorry, but I have to disagree.......maximum two is quite enough. I have somewhat more than two on the go at the moment, and all I can say is progress slows (or stalls completely) while frustration levels rocket......Maybe you can have too much of a good thing?

John, I refer you to my remark: "I may not be entirely serious about this..." I've just returned from visiting a pal who has it much worse, so I can breathe a bit easier! (My current projects in order: 1959 Constellation 1955, 350 Bullet, 1970 S2 Interceptor).

Hmmm', "Two projects on the go"? This could possibly be ringing true come 2014, as I must make the effort of attempting to kick-start the first throe's of the restoration process on my Matchless G11. It's ONLY been in my possession for some 24 years? Bought as a complete, but non-running bike, I fear that this machine may outlive me?
