supposedly ok , but time will tell I have started using a product made by staraseal , http://www.shop4glue.com/tank-sealer-fo ... -613-p.asp which is an epoxy based rather than a resin based sealant , supposedly will handle 100% ethanol

I treated my Model G tank with Bill Hirsch tank sealer back in 2001. Until I learned about all the possible unwanted effects of ethanol and stopped using 95 octane petrol last year, I suppose this tank has got it's share of E5. Still, the coating is good as new inside the tank. Bill Hirsch also states in the documentation that the product is safe for use with ethanol. So I can just recommend this product! Regards, Anders F.
