Does anybody know the part number for the alternator adaptor ring to fit the smaller stator to a Super Meteor. I have found it before but can't find it now. The search came up with a number 110235 but I'm not sure if this is the correct one

Norm, are you sure there is one for the RM15 stator ( ? well smaller one anyway!) to fit the big Twins/singles? I thought all the larger bikes had the RM18/19 stator which was bigger and never fitted the small one? The small stator ring adaptor is from the Crusader range part no 39040 for reference. I've never seen a third type, to my knowledge but hey... (By the way, was away at a wedding when the Electra debate raged, of course I don't disagree with what you have seen and experienced but I think conditions here are more benign (and maybe the bikes are ridden more gently...) and as a result we just don't get either the numbers or range of failures you have seen. I don't own one of the Electra/EFI period bikes (but might one day,) so I'll be guessing but I'd say failures are (in order) sprag, main bearings, cylinder head niggles (loose seats, seizing valves,) piston failure.

Hi Mark,
I fitted one to a Super Meteor a few years ago and was going to get one for the Meteor when I fitted an alternator to that but I ended up making one because I had to make it fit the inner primary I had made. I had looked it up around that time and I found it but didn't bother writing the number down. I have asked MrH to see if it is still available.
