Looking at the new continental, what are the black strips for that sit vertically across the fins on the head ?

Oh ok, must admit not sure how they would do that, do they not restrict airflow over the fins though ?

not looked at the bullet , but they were std om MZs etc from the 70s , my little ts185 Suzuki has bits of rubber blocks to stop the ringing
