Hi guys-----BEEZABRYAN, this is RIGHT UP YOUR STREET !!!------------------For the NON-TECH guys, have a look at the photos in this E-Bay advert.....notice how the crankshaft gear teeth only ever get loaded or back-loaded with ONE valve spring at any one time ??------------Compare this with the Bullet timing gears where both the Ex. and the In. load-up together onto the crank.....Also the BSA only requires one length of push-rod and the RE needs a long and a short............................... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/bsa-b33-500cc ... 5af36d5e62 ---------------------- I see the UCE engine is still the same !!!! PLUS}-- all the joys of a PLASTIC gear wheel on the oil pump ------ ?????????.

I like that Alan, the seller states no visible damage and then shows a completely stripped thread and a crack right across one of the stud holes for the sump plate, magic.

Interesting. ... Looks like it is made up of knackered left overs from a rebuild/ restore. ... but ffs drive side pinions are 2 a penny (I got at least one sitting on my shelf may be more though some might be enfield) so why shove that pos onto something you are trying to flog, ... The Flash is cooling off in the garage after it's pushrods have been whizzing up and down fairly rapidly during an evening ride to our South Derbyshire BSAOC evening gathering. ... and yesterday both it and the Infamous Bullet painlessly got their brand new MOTs.
