Hi, there!

Last weekend Iwas working on my 35O classic bullet(2001)and I realized the seven rivets fixing the clutch friction disk in the sprocket were all loose. All seven the same. Impossible they fall due to the plates short travel and not affecting the clutch job. The question is if these rivets shoud be as I found them or MUST be fixed firmy on the sprocket as I think?

Hi guys-------- TONI, might I suggest you resist the urge to "Hammer-up" the old ones ?? They must have come loose for a reason and will be nicely fretted by now...Check their holes friction disc as well for ovality.......Assume that famous Enfield pose (hand into pocket), dust off those white fivers and buy some new rivets and/or a plate.. Also, if you're not mechanically minded then pop down to your nearest engineering workshop and let the professionals do it for you.....Guessing at an hours work(including removal) so about £30 to 40 ??............. Not what you want to hear I know.......... but it's up to you in the end..

Second Alan there - setting rivets properly is a bit of an art.
