 I'm having problems with the box shifting. Shifting up it often misses third and shifting down it won't go into first without pulling up then down on the neutral finder and the it will go into first. It is obviously an adjuster problem but I can't seem to get it right. A couple of years ago I had problems with 2 boxes and the only way I solved it was by building up the offending teeth on the ratchet with weld but they had unknown miles on the boxes. This box has only done 4,000ks from new and is still a bit tight but it must have worked ok originally Any thoughts?

   Ok think I have found the problem, I converted this box from left shift to right and it seems the outer cover is the cause of the problems. With the cover off it now shifts ok, but as soon as I fit the cover it plays up. I think the problem must be the shifter where it comes through the outer cover. I will grind a bit off this tomorrow and see how it goes. All it can be

Hiya all


has anyone else done the albion left to right hand shift conversion. If so was the kit fine and did it all fit as required and function correctly. Did the outer cover mesh correctly with internals and allow gear change freely. Did onyone need to modify the outer cover or the neutral fineder to get the kit to work properly. Also did our hosts send the instructions with the kit.


any help would be very appreciated.
