Hello all,
has anyone fitted a Hitchcocks large 'Indian Chief' style solo saddle?
If so I would be grateful to know:
1.how comfortable it is (I am very long of leg)
2.how well does it look on an electra - if anyone has (or can direct me to) a picture, I would be grateful.
Thanks and happy summer riding days all.
Rich

I fitted one and soon removed it. They look awful and worse hit the rear mudguard on even slightly bumpy roads. On the plus side they are very comfy.

I have fitted an Indian Cheif seat to my Electra X, have no regrets, I think they look good they are very comfortable and mine is three inches above the rear mudguard and cannot touch the it at all. It does exposé the electrics though, you need to cover them up. It's nice to be different, I've fitted a Brooklands can and a Miller rear light and it looks GREAT

Hello Rich,
I Have one on my "Machismo" and All though I Suffer with One too many Injury's and Problem's in The Butt Dept..Overall I Like it.
The Previous owner had Fitted "Scissor Springs" So it do's not wallow on Bumps or Bends, and I Stiffened up the Front to Match:
Result a Nice Large seat that You can Still move around On, But with a Different Shape to Std so Pressure points are in a Different Area, Plenty of Ventilation to Stop "Sweaty Bo**ks" Syndrome,
So all in all I Like it (In its More Firm Form)..
Only Down Side is "Leather" It is Nice But Come what may (or you Do) You get a Lot of Damp Bottom's Day's with the Rain..
If your Near Nottingham your Welcome to test mine out any time...
Cheers Craig
