I'm not surprised this posting has over 30 views but no reply: it must be one of the rudest and most abrupt requests for help that I've ever seen on this forum!

Thanks a lot for the answer Mark M.

Martin C. The post was in no way meant to be rude. But if I hurt your feelings I'm really sorry .. But as you might understand I come from the uncivilized country Norway. Indeed, Northern Norway, where I cruise around on my Constellation among polar bears .... Sorry really that my grammar is not up to standard.

Thanks for coming back, lets get you out on the road while the weather is good! In case you don't already know, you should use the latest composition head gaskets from our Hosts and also their hardened steel washers under the head nuts. Be sure to run a clearance drill through the holes as alloy from the head can and will get pushed into the holes making removal in future very difficult!

Hi, yupp I know. There are so few Connies around in Norway. I've only konw of mine (the one and only that was sold new in 1958) and one other up north, but can't get in contact with the owner. Just a shot in the dark...
Maybe someone who know the guy see my posting....
