confused by the discrepancy in the Snidal manual and hitchcocks tech notes. Snidel says the dished centers "reach towards the hub" (both dishes facing inward?) - hitchcocks says the inner dished plate raised surface should face the fitter (outward?) and the outer dished plate raised surface should face away from the fitter (inward?) (these would not face the same direction) which is right?

Dean, Hitchcocks are correct providing you have 2 dished plates, if you only have one it goes in as the outer steel plate and the dish faces in and when you fit it you will see why it is dished

I'm inclined to go for hitchcocks tech notes as my last rebuild on the clutch did and everything is working just fine .
