Hi chaps and ladies
just got round to fitting amal carb that I bought from hitchcocks.
in the book it looks like there is a flange I only was supplied with a thin gasket
please could someone inform me what sits next to cylinder head
I have removed the mikuni carb this has gasket ,tufnel spacer aluminium 10mm spacer ,gasket Tufnell spacer then carb
bit confused .
any advice greatly welcomed
my bike is 2004 indian bullet

Hi VIC, just to start the ball rolling---is it a 350 or 500 ??

I started answering , then spotted the indian home market statement ,

'Indian home market,' or just 'Indian Bullet' - i.e. not a British one?

just a thought , the amal ashould fit directly to a 350 engine , however it needs the alloy adaptor to fit the 500 engine.

what might be confusing the OP , is the emission setup (flange with air pipes)
