Hi Folks

I am lucky enough to have one of the most excellent Hitchcocks Cafe Racer aluminium tanks on my Enfield. I want to get a tank bag for it, but am concerned that A) It will mark the tank and B) I will not be able to attach the bag to the tank. Any ideas ??

Suggest you try bagster for a tank cover to which a tank bag can be clipped

I checked their (bagster) website to see which cover might fit... I could not locate one that seemed to fit the bill, and could not find their email to ask for support.. Any other thoughts ??

If you have an alloy tank, you'll already know you can scratch it just by cleaning it! I'm afraid any bag you use will likely mark that surface in some way, but whichever one you choose the marking can be minimised by a soft surface that gets cleaned often. As to which bag, you'd need to do some trial & error guesswork I reckon. You could pay to have a bespoke fitted cover made or you could choose a universal clip on design of some sort, but I have yet to see the ideal set up on any tank..
