Hello everybody,
Not been here for a while. I took my Indian export 500 Bullet (2000) model on holiday to France, Belgium, Netherlands and Germany last September and rode around 600 miles in total with zero problems. However the week after coming home I collided with a pedestrian and sent my bike up the ride. Ped' got off with broken ribs, hip and a smashed up mobile phone(!) but the Bullet needs new bars, throttle, tank, headlight and casquette. I am going to order the bits soon but before I begin how do I remove the casquette?
Thanks in advance,
Alan

Hello RADO 53---------- sorry to hear of you inspecting the Asphalt at close quarters !! First some good news for you ( you deserve it by all accounts !)and then-- of course, some "not-so-good" news.. GOOD NEWS }---I have a 1999 Classic 500 Bullet that is currently being converted to a 1950's style Army Despatch riders bike (Suez Canal period)....Which means that the black casquette will be swapped for a Lucas 7" headlamp-and-bracket assy... You are welcome to have the casquette for a small contribution to the Suez Project ( say £10 ?? plus a £5 for P&P ??) -- Not-so-good news is}-- It's still on the bike...If you want it send me your E-mail address and we'll continue on there ?-I'm in Telford, Shropshire...

Hi Alan,
I received photos to my Yahoo pictures but no email address. I have never had that happen in the past.
Anyhow, the casquette looks OK. Once I have your email we'll sort something out :-)
