Hey
in some occasions I found that the ferrul of the throttle cable where it enters the carb (close to the tank) is falling out of the adjuster that screws into the top of the micarb causing the engine to overrun.
Any suggestions how can i fix this
Many thanks

This adjuster is for taking any excess slack out of the cable to prevent the problem you have, remember the carb return spring and cable has to be in good condition (not stretched or tight).

Thanks
How about a slightly bended adjuster screw?

I've seen a Bullet with an adjuster with a 45 degree bend so that the cable didn't have to be trapped by the tank. I suggested last year that Mr H might stock such an item as I think it would be popular. If the cable run is nice and smooth there shouldn't be a problem but it does take some care in setting up.
