Hi guys--------- CHRISTEELE, short answer is NO as you'll need to re-position (by experimenting) the nipple, then re-solder etc.....Just buy the appropriate cable, it'll save a lot of tears if you haven't done that sort of thing before.....

I wondered the same thing, after converting to an Amal Concentric and having previously bought a brand new spare cable for the old Micarb! I like to have a set of spare cables on board. I suppose setting a fast tickover would get me home in some fashion, if I didn't have a spare for the Amal!

Barry the way to get home with a snapped throttle cable on the Amal Monobloc and pre monobloc is to remove the choke slide assembly and then hook the choke cable to the throttle slide using the choke lever as a throttle. Though I am not sure if you can do this with the Concentric but I guess you can.

You can't the cable is too short, I looked at the possibility when my throttle cable snapped in the middle of nowhere. The reason I asked was I have a 500 Bullet sat in the garage with a perfectly working throttle cable and I considered donating the said cable to the 350 with the broken cable. Problem now solved, at not inconsiderable expense. I stood on the throttle slide assembly! The language was quite choice!
