I've recently repainted my tank and side panels using Plasti-Kote Metal Protect; several coats, topped off with lacquer.
Having had some rain on it, the raindrops have left a bluish discoloration where they have settled. I haven't tried to do anything about this yet. Anyone else had any experience of this product?

Paint applied a couple of weeks ago. Not sure about petrol resistance, I may end up redoing it.

it may polish out try 3m hand glaze but you may have to do the job again if not petrol resistant,or it may be worth flatting with the finest wet n dry you can get and apply a coat of resistant lacquer ,but it may react with the other paint, but to be honest i,ve messed about with home paint jobs because i think i,m saving money but by the time youve spent 50 big ones at halfords and end up with a job you,re not happy with you may aswell visit you,re local paint shop
