Hi i am having problems trying to find out what battery will fit and have enough power for my continental GT. can any one advise what to use, hopefully with a battery code so i can order one.

Any good? I`m new on here,i imagine it`s 6 volts but what`s your battery holder dimensions? Has your model a flick switch for a dead battery to switch direct to the magneto?

Mole, I've actually gutted the original battery case on mine and fitted a Cyclon solid state battery which fits inside, works well and keeps it's charge if not used. It's the 6v 8ah one if I remember rightly, they also do a 5ah. Many modern lead acid batteries aren't much cop so I'd consider going for the Cyclon.

Hi thanks for your help. i think i will go for a cyclon one as Mark suggested and make a box for it or find an old battery and gut it like Mark has.
