Seat fitting?

Dear Bulleteers
My 350 Bullet has a single seat which is not very hard wearing. The bike has done 16000 miles, it's on its second seat and that has already needed attention to keep it intact.
The single seat on the Bullet EFI looks quite plush and well made. Would it fit on the old bullet, and is it as good quality as it looks?
Thanks
Ed

Ed, couple of questions and the miles has little to do with the seat. How old is the bike, is it parked in the elements,if so do you cover the seat, I assume you are talking about the cover, not the frame of the seat or the springs breaking, which does happen. As for the other seat fitting, anybodys guess as it is Indian and very few Indian bits bolt straight on without a hammer and a grinder

Thanks
Norm, the bike is garaged. The main problem is with the cover -- it's fixed on to the frame with those silly bits of bendy steel (although I have now bolted it to the frame), and the cover wears out. I have also had several of those small horizontal springs break and/or work loose. On the previous saddle, the frame itself broke at the nose of the saddle when I went over a fair bump in the road. The big vertical springs are the only thing that hasn't caused a problem. It probably doesn't help that I weigh about 14 stone.
I even thought for a while about putting on the biggest Brooks leather bicycle saddle that I could find, but I suspect it would look a bit silly.

Hey, putting in your own line breaks works! Just put in
two line break codes, like

Hi Whatis a line break code?
Is it just pushing "enter". I shall just try entering..
Will it work ? It will make reading this forum so much easier,
no more dots dashes etc.
Regards Fred

Trouble is, if I type out a HTML line break you won't see it - there'll just be a line break, so look here
