Bugger it I give up 
...........I've re-sized the damn thing three times & it still comes up full size spreading outside the message board frame

Strange or what? ....... when I was trying the pics they came out all over the page even though I was re-sizing smaller each time ..... but now they are OK..... Thanks gentlemen I will have another go ...

Hi matey------------- Just a reminder that when you post any photos on a forum then that is just a link to the source file and NOT a photo in it's own right. So anyone can now access your main collection just by placing the pointer over your photo and cliking ( I just have just done that in order to test)..May I suggest that you create a separate file for any images that you intend to put into the public domain ?? ie none of family, children wives etc. for reasons that to day are only all too familiar.....
