Does ACF50 affect the paintwork in any way?

NO,but WD40 is cheaper.

WD is cheaper but ACF is much better. I brush it un with an old paintbrush as it's rather wasteful to spray it.

Seems its safe on painwork, though i think a good coat of wax on paintwork would be cheaper.. Autoglym is good stuff. Use acf on/in switches and locks as well as wheel rims. WD40 is good but i have found it thickens/ goes treacly inside locks after a while so you end up squirting more in to make it fluid again.....

Thanks! Not intending to apply directly to paintwork though - just wondering about overspill onto paintwork when using liberally on fasteners, etc.

I spray everything, paint, chrome, electrics, on my EFI (except brakes, tyres )and have done for 4 winters now.Excellent stuff. Would'nt use anything else.
