Hi, Greetings to all. Being a newbie I hope I am on the right forum.
I have just purchased a few containers that contain the earthly remains of a Flying Flea, surprisingly most of it seems to be there. The Frame No. is REM32034 & the engine No.is 32034. I would like if possible to know the year & whether it was a Military or a Civilian Version.
Have a good Day

Hello OZBOY, ---- welcome aboard the good ship Enfield ----- If you're brave enough to take on ANY basket case, let alone an Enfield, let alone an oddity amongst oddities, AND post on any forum ( But this is THE one for Enfields, of course--take note Mr H )----------- then YES, MATEY you're in the right place for sure. A world-wide data-base of like minded enthusiasts from all walks of life linked by two common threads (not the forum type )-----a) A "love" of the make, and ---b} A doctors certificate !!! Have fun.

Ozboy, you're in the right place, that's for sure! I have no detail knowledge of the Flea or civilian version Model RE, or even if it's really early (1939, say,) the Royal Baby but your best bet is to contact the Royal Enfield Owner's Club. You can join online and it's very cheap compared to other Clubs. The Club has the original Factory despatch books and can tell you exactly what you have and where it went. There is also a big Archive at the REOC which will also help. There is also a website for these bikes at a Dutch (NL) address, try a Google search. Good luck and let us know how you get on!
