Output is weedy but sufficient if you use all LED lighting. The way my one was set up was for AC/DC output only and there wasn't a good way to get the phase outputs for a solid DC output. I rewound mine differently (left the ignition one alone).

I found it was insufficient to use the capacitor only, it needs a wee battery.

I believe the newer ones are wound differently (I suspect exactly how I've wound mine).
