Hi all I'm a bit puzzled as where the rectifier should go on my 1960 constellation. I purchased all the bits new loom brackets nuts and bolts etc. and Mr H said it goes above the engine. The bracket is too long for it to go above the carbs. So my question is does it go in front of the head at the back or above. I'm totally lost as nothing is mentioned in the manuals

Al, not sure with the Connie, but the 1A Inter is mounted in front of the motor to the frame up under the tank

Al, it goes in the same place on both Connie and Mk1 Interceptor, which is on the top frame tube just behind the headstock. Mount it as far forward as possible to avoid restricting access to the tappet covers.
