Electra - Water in tank

The seal on my Electra's petrol tank cap doesn't seem to fit flush with the tank and I am getting water in my fuel when it rains. Is there a rubber seal that fits to the tank that seals around the hole? Or any other suggestions?

Bob, Mr H has a kit to replace the flip cap with a twist down one, never seen one and not sure it would solve your problem but might be worth asking.

Bob, I considered Mr H's flip cap to twist conversion kit for my Electra and it also looks much better - part ref 92615.
My tank would leak a little fuel under braking - particularly when filled. I made a 'washer' out of quite thick (1.5mm?) leather and this sits on the existing rubber seal which is on the inside of the flip cap. So far this has been 100% effective. I also don't know if the conversion would stop the water getting in but my washer has stopped any fuel getting out!
Best of luck.
