Has anyone got a step by step guide in how to fit PART No. 92784/340
REAR SHOCK ABSORBERS 340mm (Shorter than std), PAIR, OPEN CHROME SPRINGS, 650 Interceptor+650 GT Hagon Shock Absorbers.

Basically, the hole dimensions on the Original RE Shocks is 360mm.
So, If I remove these how do I then fit the shortened (By 20mm) 340mm Hagon Shocks.

After I remove one of the original shocks, I would have to compress the Suspension somehow, but how would you do this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks,
Pete.

Pull the bike onto its centre stand. Put the blade of a garden spade under the back wheel, with the handle at 90 degrees to the fore/aft axis of the bike. Put a piece of wood under the lower shaft of the blade, to act as a fulcrum. Remove both shocks, using one foot on the spade handle to take the load off the bolts as required.

Fit the new shocks in the same way.

Having said all that, I fitted shorter shocks to my 350 by simply lifting the rear wheel by hand.
