I would like to fit electronic ignition to my 1960 Super Meteor. Trouble is most of the kits are for bikes with side points. Has anyone fitted a system to a bike with a distributor before?
Mine has a DKX2A distributor fitted.

Try this chap?

We can also design & make kits for distributors where there is no kit available off the shelf.
Is the plan to keep the original distributor for looks but with electronics?
If you just want the functionality, something like a magneto replacement body which will take a Pazon/Boyer/Wassell or whatever sidepoints replacement kit might be what you're after.

Mine has a Kirby Rowbotham fitted but I think he might be retired now.

His email and phone number is on the page.
Good luck.

Are the 18d2 and the DKX2A near enough the same piece of kit, or are there critical differences?
