ABS light flashing intermittently Himalayan 2018

Hi
ABS self checks fine , then , at some point on every ride , starts flashing - dimly at first then brighter, then stops flashing , then can start again. I tested the brakes when this going on and they work fine.
Rear brake light not sticking on, works fine
I cleaned the outside of the sensors to the disks front and back.
Can't think of anything else to try.
Anyone had this happen?
