OK, so these are our hosts adaptors to change the style of the fork stanchion tops from later to earlier, got it. They do of course have the effect of lengthening the fork stanchions a little, probably not enough to cause any problems.

So, if your alloy top yoke is the one with the threaded holes as you say, then these ought to screw right in. It helps to grease or oil the stanchions (a quick spray of GT85 would do) to let them slide up through the bottom yokes fully into position with the pinch bolts slackened off. Then of course use the 1/2" A/F hex bar T tool to slot into the top of the adapter plugs and screw them in, ANTICLOCKWISE as seen from the TOP.

If you're still having problems, some sort of puller can be made quite easily to pass through the holes in the top yoke and screw into the top of the adapter and yank or wind it into a position where the thread on the outside of the adapter engages with the thread in the yoke.

The 92757 top yoke would have let you use the forks without adapters, much easier!

You can edit your posts on here, but you have to get in quick. The little symbol with the star/wheel (?) and the arrow with the 90° downward bend in the top right hand corner of your newly=posted message is where you need to click. It disappears after a little while.

I think you'll probably be able to get a large allen key (1/2" or 13mm) down through the top of the yoke and use that to turn the stanchion.

If you don't have an allen key, you can use a long M8 bolt (which has a 13mm head) with two nuts locked onto it. I'd suggest locking a washer between the two nuts too which will stop you accidentally dropping it down into the middle of the fork.

EFI forks don't screw into the the top yoke.
They have no external thread like the older style had.
All you need to do is push the leg up into the top yoke and insert the large screw to pull the leg tightly into the yoke meilleure assurance chien.
Do have the correct part?

Note: For C5 Classic 2011on and B5 Bullet 2017on with inline forks, use Part Number: 92757
It's really nice of you to point this out to us. Thanks very much !
