I've converted my 2000 Classic 500 to look more 60s authentic using Mr H's 'Lucas' battery box and holder. However inside this 'kid em' box lurks a tiny Honda 50 style 12 volt battery. My question is how on earth do I top it up? The holes are so tiny, and the amount of liquid required so small I end up with de-ironised water all over the place. Any ideas anyone? Thanks guys (and gals).

How about getting a syringe from your local chemist, then a bit of flexi tube on the end?

Water pistol, pipette, or just a new batt every year, for the sake of £8.50 is it worth the chew-on?

Well while you were all racking your brains and losing sleep over this one my mate next door came up with a cracker. He said I'll get you one of my missis's hypo needles she uses for her arthritis injections. So I washed it out and BINGO! Perfect.

----If you get one of those kits from a computer shop that allows you to re-fill your cartridge ---- they contain a good sized syringe with detachable needle AND a short, 3mmm drill molded into a round, plastic handle----useful in the bikes' on-board tool kit ??
