350cc bullet with Bransden Powerbox. The bike runs great battery-less but it can't tick over with the lights on... It did yesterday which is weird.
The tick over is set particularly low... It's not racing away either.
Any ideas? Thanks

You're asking quite a bit from the alternator Matt...simplest fix would be to raise the tickover speeds or add a very small battery. Two questions 1) Are you using both sets of coils on the alternator? 2) What ignition system do you have on it?....If it worked before, and not now might indicate a cause other than the Powerbox, but it does not rule out a change within the unit either. Some voltage measurements are going to be needed.

Just a stab but I have found they will run with points ignition but not with electronic ignition, obviously the condensor carries enough power between alternator pulses
