Hi there I have just purchased a 1966 enfield 350 bullet from india could anyone offer any help in how to register the bike in this country for a age related number ?
I have a V55/5 form that needs the following information.
Wheel span,unladen wieght in KG,wheelbase in mm.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I doubt that you require any of the information that you list other than proof of age. Just because there is a box on the V55/5 it doesn't mean that you need to fill it in.
The Royal Enfield Owners Club may be able to assist or alternatively the Vintage Motorcycle Club may also be able to help. I have had excellent service from the latter.

Hi guys---------- Please don't think me a damp squib by bringing this subject up again but might I ask JIMBO to find out the situation with his bike re}----speedo reading in MPH and/or Kms and regestering it here?? Do the home market bikes have a Kms-only speedo ??

No damp squib but I would expect a club to be au fait with the registration of grey imports...... partly why I suggested using REOC rather than going it alone

I wouldn't worry about the speedo. Because of the bikes age, it doesn't have to go through the MSVA test. It only has to pass the MOT.
