My 1999 350 bullets was serviced last week and the oil Quil seal was found chewed up.

What could have be cause of the damaged seal?

Hopefully you're looking at old age of the seal
Worst case scenario worn main bearing on the timing side

Check for play in the main bearing if no play replace seal

Hopefully it's just the seal Dai
