That GBP 30K street bobber that

beats any Harley creation! Too
bad the site now seems dormant,
do hope the family were able to
struggle on with such promising

Having lived in Tottenham as a boy, it's nice to see the name JAP on a new engine again. Looks very nice, but none of the bikes that it's fitted in appeal to me at all. Now if you could make a bike that looked like this: http://www.theworldofmotorcycles.com/zo ... erior.html then that WOULD appeal to me. I know that that you can get new Broughs nowadays but they are around 250,000 quid........BTW....Paul, tomorrow night at Bruce Castle Museum, there is an evening event celebrating 80 years existance of "Glickmans" tool shop in Tottenham High Rd....starts at 7.30PM.......not forgetting the v nice pub near by, "The Antwerp Arms", for a pint afterwards.

I would like to have gone there but sadly I am working on the late shifts this week. I still pass there regularly on my way too Northumberland Park train Maintenance Depot. Must been in that shop plenty of times over the years.

PAUL MH, --- you have my DEEPEST sympathies re}---late shift etc. I was a Diesel Technician at the Cow Lane Maintenance Depot, Reading back in the late 1970's. Blown head gasket on a class 47---and they want it for the 15.00 Bristol run !! OR --- my particular favourite--- dropping the transmission oil on a class 42 Hydraulic, only to find it was at "B" end, not "A" !!!....

Mmmm, yes, I used to live in Park lane, Tottenham in the 80s, the JAP factory was long gone by then but I was fascinated to find out that it had been virtually over the road from where I lived.
As for Glickmans, max Respect! hope they survived the riots without too much grief.
