I'm looking to move the location of my bike in my garage that might need some help from some kind of trolley. I have seen a ROTHEWALD Motorcycle Mobile Stand and Parking Trolley for £50. Anyone have experience of one of these or other recommendations for something suitable?

I have one of those the same as The one sold on Hitchcock Hydraulic Bike Lift at £90 its a bit dearer but its made working on the bike much easier as it lifts it up and makes easy wheel removal and working without continuously bending down. Plus its easy to move around the shed and seems very well made and heavy duty.

The bike lift would be useful but I was looking for something that the centre stand would drop on to so that I could easily manoeuvre the bike into position. The hydraulic bike lift looks as though the operation is not quite so simple. Or have I misjudged how works?

No your correct it has too be firmly fixed too bike. I made up my own brackets too bolt the bike on for and easy access when working. I had a look at the stand you mentioned its good for just moving the bike around the garage as you just put it under the centre stand making it very easy to use.

I'd be interested to hear how you get on with that Rothewald bike mover. I have two bikes in a fairly confined space, and being able to slide them about like that would be a real boon. I was looking at the smaller BikeTec version, but the weight capacity isn't up to it. This Rothewald one looks like it might be the business, and a good price.

Hi guys,I contacted the supplier to find out the height of the platform and was told it was 1.5" from the ground,I think that the bike will take some lifting onto centre stand.Just my thoughts,
