Think I may have posted about this before.

About 500 miles ago one of the front wheel bearings gave up the ghost, so I replaced it, wish I had done both.

Here we are 500 miles later the other one has gone, this one even worse than the other one completly shot.

As the dealer is showing no interest I'll do it myself again.

Starting to wonder when the rear wheel bearings are going to follow suit.

Both the bearings were well packed with grease, so guess it must be a manufacturing fault - possibly not hardened correctly, they are marked as FAG bearings.

Grrrrrrrrr

I've always replaced wheel bearings as a set anyway. So two for a front wheel, three for a rear because I do the carrier bearing at the same time.

I can't think of a single good reason to use open bearings on a motorcycle wheel. Add -2RS to the part number etched on the race to get rubber sealed ones.
