Hi, its being over 40 years since I did this, can any one remind me what the piston ring gap should be in the bore as I'm thinking that I may need to replace the rings. It has +20 pistons and the bores are perfect, The reason I would like to check is it is showing signs of compression passing the top ring. I'm hoping the previous owner assembled it wrong. For got to say its a 1960 Connie
Following my question about wiring a power box Thank you Norm and Les its now working as it should

Al,
Not 100% sure but I would say 15 thou would probably be about it, Inter book says 15/20 thou so Connie should not be far from that
