It is worth noting, however, that Bullet Whisperer's 103 mph Electra-X (tuned for our hosts, I believe) still managed to do what it did with a totally unmodified head. Makes me wonder what B.W. could have got out of it if he'd had the OK to do some porting as well.

Absolutely! It's sad to think of the lost opportunities this model represented.

But that was not the plan, they wanted a 500 emissions-dodger scaled up from the 350 AVLs. It all seems so pointless now, since the older "iron barrel" models could still be made to scrape through the Euro 2 (just about) alongside the lean burn Electra-X , and then BOTH types of Bullet were dumped in favour of the Euro 3 EFI models.

If you get to try a well-sorted Electra-X you will enjoy it, though as your 350 seems to be ticking the boxes happily enough at the moment you might not notice a lot of extra benefit from the bigger lump.
