Himalayan Stalling

Hi all, just checking in after joining the forum. I am based in Leeds and have waited a couple of months for my Himalayan to arrive at the dealers. I picked it up last Thursday after work and rode straight into rush hour traffic. Within 15 mins the bike began to misbehave. It idled fine in traffic but cut out when I opened the throttle slightly to move off. It obviously hasn't had it's first service yet, so will be back to the dealers shortly. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if so how it was solved? Thanks for your input.

Fit a booster plug as they run very lean. I removed all the air injection and fitted the delete kit from our host which works well.
It does improve when run in but much better to upgrade the parts.

Motor will still be very tight. Perhaps you need a bit more throttle and slip the clutch a bit?
In my experience booster plugs do bu**er all.

Thanks for the replies. I am just relying on the fact that it's new and will get better with more miles. I have my fingers crossed 😊.

Its a brand new bike - take it back and tell the dealer to sort it !
