Just finished rebuilding a basket case 1960 METEOR MINOR have got it running fine but it a pig to start
Timing is OK, new points, new coil but not sure about the new spark plugs, you can find on the internet quite a few different grades of plugs which are allegedly the right ones
Has anybody any recommendations which would be the best plugs for the Meteor Minor twin and are any of the IRIDIUM plugs recommended by any one who has used them
Hopefully some of you guys can help
Ps my last Enfield was a old Ex army 350 in 1968

The grade of plug probably isn't causing your starting issues, that comes into play more when it's up and running and up to temperature.

Poor starting is more likely to be timing related. or potentially just an overall weak spark.

With my bullet, which is half a metor minor in many respects, if it's starting badly -particularly if it's spitting back- I try retarding the timing a touch.
