Hi ,anybody know what E numbers a silencer should have on ,the bike is a year 2000 bullet 350. I need to check it’s the original fittment to pass tests to import the bike (uk bike) into Portugal.
If anybody knows that would be great. The numbers are on the tailpipe of the silencer facing in towards the wheel.
Regards
Ian.

I just checked the one "long heavy" silencer I have and there are no e-marks on it. Just "Enfield" and the part number stamped on the inside face of the tailpipe end. In fairness, I can't remember which bike it was off but it's certainly an original one because nobody would have fitted something that numb as a replacement. It might have been off an Indian import though.

I thought they stopped officially importing 350 bullets into the UK in 2007?

That was the last year of importing the pre Euro 3 (EFI) models, Watsonian-Squire were still allowed to sell them for 2008. The very last old-style 350s were built in 2010 for the Indian home market.

The last of the (imported) dinosaurs at the W-S Open Weekend in 2008!
