Swapping to a Nacelle

Morning all

I have bought a nacelle from Hitchcocks and fitted it to my 2007 Electra Xs which had a separate Rev counter and speedo head as was a special done by Westonian. I have called Westonian but they don’t have the info anymore.

There is one plug that contains the dash electrics which seem straight forward. My speedo head only has indicator light and main beam light.

Question is will the other wires such as neutral light, etc all be redundant now ?

Would it be possible to connect that wire to a lamp and put it elsewhere that suits you?

I did a similar thing when changing the speedo on mine. There was no provision on the new speedo for an indicator tell-tale, so I put my own in a place that suited me.

The original non-XS Electra-X speedo has the neutral warning light as well as the other two. You've probably bought one for a different model, but our hosts still list the Electra-X speedo - look for the big N at the bottom of the dial - part no. 146297, £50.53 plus VAT to you!

I’ve sorted it now it was just finding a wiring diagram and moving the wires.
