Thought it worth posting this again as lots don't know yet.
This is for all EFI machines afaik.
To clear faults stored in the ECU.
Connect a grounding jumper from the purple (possibly) wire at the ECU to chassis ground. It’s the single one in the LHS box that goes nowhere.
Start with key off and set the kill switch to the run position. This is so when you do turn the key on, the Mil light comes on and the fuel pump as it normally would.
Fully open the throttle fully.
Turn the key on. At this point the Mil light and pump will come on as normal.
After the Mil light goes out and BEFORE it comes back on, to start blinking the codes.... release the throttle. The Mil light does a quick double blink, switch off.
Disconnect the jumper and restart the engine four times.
The codes should be gone. If not try again.
