54 Meteor with the headlight casquete does anybody know if the Indian fork tubes will fit?

Norm, yes they will but the Indian fork tubes (stanchions) are slightly thicker walled so you may not be able to use the original Redditch springs. If you go for Indian springs go for a lightweight set as supplied by Mr H as the standard Indian ones are rather heavy. I have done this swap on my 59 Trials which uses the same components.

I started to pull the forks out of this one to check because I'm waiting on seals to arrive, but we have another one that we are thinking of converting and I have a set of Bullet tubes sitting here and they looked pretty close
