Hi,

we in Europe are still require a ECE number/confirmation for an alternative Windshield... 🙄 ... so have the Himalayan Windshields an ECE confirmation?

Thanks
Joe

European windshields explode without that ECE, possibly making holes in the ozone layer

The shield is necessary from warp 9.8 upwards... which works only with ECE standard on the German Autobahn...

Now no joke: Without ECE the "Betriebserlaubnis" expires in Germany, which means that the entire vehicle may not be used in road traffic.
If there is an accident and a motor vehicle assessor detects the shield, the complete insurance coverage is gone. 🙄 On top, it is rated as a criminal offense.... German law. 🤷🏻 Will also be checked at police checks - which is not so rare in the motorcycle hot spots...

That's actually a German Specific Law, not all EU, While I don't know every countries legislation, I know Spain, France, Italy, Ireland and the Ex UK do not require ECE certification of motorcycle mods.

Germany has some weird ones for motorcycles, some are cool though.
Scooters for example don't pay road tax insurance or need an annual TUV. They buy a colour coded number plate once a year which includes everything. If you have the wrong colour plate, you get pulled over. Oh yeah, and you can use cycle paths unless it's specified you can't.

Just don't cross the street and park facing the wrong way or you get a ticket.
